I just finished reading the Alien Chronicles Trilogy by Deborah Chester. I really enjoyed it even though it strayed a bit from my usual genre. I was a little disappointed with the end of the third book but it did give closure and hope. The author’s writing style is easy to read and follow even if you do have to skim over some of the alien lingo. The main characters were well-developed with personalities that made me want to follow Ampris and to overthrow Israi. I would recommend this series for anyone who is a sci-fifantasy fan especially those who enjoy reading Star Wars books or the like.
