Continuation of the 30 day book challenge.
Go to Day 1
Whenever I am asked about my favorite book I usually answer: Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. However, I can’t say that he is my favorite author because that is the only book I have read by him.
Favorite authors is a much harder question to answer.
If I go by the number of books ownedread by a single author it would have to be Sir Terry Pratchett or James Rollins. My favorite book by the former is Small Gods, as previously discussed. The former isn’t so much a favorite as the one that sticks in my mind, Demon Crown.
In second place, for quantity, I think Clive Cussler, Piers Anthony, Clive Barker and Brian Lumley. I don’t know how to pick a favorite out of these. I will call out Coldheart Canyon by Clive Barker as a must read though.
I have a couple thousand books in my library at present. It’s hard to pick just one favorite from any of them.
Thankfully, it looks like tomorrow’s prompt is far easier…
