Charlotte (Good) Engle, 58, Prentice, was taken from our sight on Sept. 11, 2008, at her home.

Charlotte, better known to her friends and family as Chuckie or Char, was born Feb. 5, 1950, in Phillips, the daughter of Dale and Ruth Good. She loved chocolate, gardening, reading, was an amateur photographer and an avid collector of teddy bears. She worked at THE-BEE newspaper in Phillips as a graphic artist for the last 22 years.

She is survived by her daughter Sarah, Prentice; by Sarah’s father Tom Engle, Florida; by her older sister and brother-in-law Dawn (Good) and Jared Oquist, North Branch, Minn.; by her younger sister Debbie Good, Rice Lake; by her nieces and nephews: Aaron Oquist and his son Christopher, Ingrid and Michal Newman and their children Sydney and Jordyn, Scarlet Oquist and her children Kayla, Skye, Jessica and Lierra, Joshua Oquist, Nathan Oquist, Cassandra Ulrich and her children Katey and Austin, Melanie (Ulrich) and RB McBain and their children Jonny, Tyler, Willow, Saphire and Xander, Justin Ulrich and Jason Ulrich; and by many other cousins, uncles, aunts, family and friends who will all miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Ruth Good, by her paternal grandparents Frank and Lucille Good, and by her maternal grandparents JB and Fanny Sutton.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Heindl Funeral Home in Prentice with J. Milton Neuhauser officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Phillips, at a later date.
